- Competed in the South African Formula Vee National and Regional Road racing Championship - Won both the South African Formula Vee National and Regional Road Racing Championships
- Became the youngest driver to win a National Road Racing Championship at 20 years old
- Awarded the State Presidents Outstanding Achievement Award in Motorsport along with Jody Schecter (Formula 1 World Champion)
- Started racing Moto X in the 250 class

1980
- Spent six months in Europe attempting to break into Formula Ford Road racing

- Returned to South Africa

- Started racing in the South African National Off Road Racing Championship
- Finished 1st place in the Draper International Enduro Swaziland

1983
- Competed in the South African National Off Road and Enduro Championships
- Finished 1st Place 500cc in the Bapsfontein Off Road Motorcycle Grand Prix
- Finished 3rd Place in the Roof or Africa Off Road Race

1984
- Started racing Road Running Marathons
- Completed The Milo Korkie 56 KM Ultra Marathon road running race
- Completed the Comrades 89 KM Ultra Marathon road running race
- Finished 2nd Place in the Roof or Africa Off Road Race

1985
- Competed in the South African National Off Road and Enduro Championships
- Went to Europe to compete in the ISDE in La Molina Spain. Did not compete due to South African Citizenship (Apartheid boycott)

1986
- Moved to the United States
- Competed in the USTS Triathlon Series

1987
- Finished the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championships
- Competed in the USTS Triathlon Series
- Competed in the Kamikaze Downhill mountain bike race Mammoth Lakes, CA

1988
- Finished the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championships
- Competed in Off Road Moto X Grand Prix
- Raced in the last ever Barstow to Vegas Off Road Motorcycle race
- Competed in the Baja 1000
- Competed in the Kamikaze Downhill mountain bike race Mammoth Lakes, CA

1989
- Finished the World Toughest Ironman Triathlon, Lake Tahoe, CA

1990
- Finished the Ultraman Triathlon Triple Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii
- Tested and Raced in the Barber Saab Pro Road Racing series
- Received Pilots License

1994
- Finished the International Six Day Enduro in Tulsa Oklahoma on the South African Trophy Team
- Competed in Off Road Moto X Grand Prix

1999
- Started go kart racing - 125 shifter class
- Started go kart racing - HPV 100cc Class

2004
- Finished the Baja 500 Off Road race on a Motorcycle (only Ironman finisher)

2005
- Competed in the Dakar Rally. Withdrew in 5th stage due to mechanical problem.
- Competed in the Nevada 1000 mile off-road race

2006
- Competed in the Dakar Rally. Withdrew in 7th stage due to crash and injury.

2007
- Competed in the Dakar Rally. Withdrew in 8th stage due to crash.

2008
- Dakar Rally cancelled due to terrorist threats. Rescheduled as Dakar Series - European Rally. Kevin participating with Robbie Gordon's team. They will finish!
